Or you bleed, or you lose your temper and spam dimensional bolt from out of combat range until you get blood to initiate combat. Blood is surprisingly abundant! Either the enemies bleeds. I had 3 other party members to handle the other stuff so why bother?īlood infusion is metal. I would suggest if you find micromanaging 4 characters to be a bit daunting to think about taking the Lone Wolf talent on two characters and giving it a go. I'm playing them in a Lone Wolf playthrough together, meaning they both get buffed significantly but I can only use a 2 character party. Since Undead can't be healed normally, Necro is a natural fit. He relies on Polymorph and Warfare skills to CC while my Elf Necro keeps him healed up and damages afar. Two-Hander undead (or Fane) is one I'm currently playing. Necro builds are strong (OP) late game but start slow. Sanguine Archer is a Necro Ranger that focuses on physical damage and physical spells. You basically use mid to close range fire skills to magically burn everything. There is natural synergy with that character and Fire, so the combo makes sense. Red Prince Battlemage (or just regular lizard) is a lot of fun too if you enjoy a little chaos. Pair that with either a second mage focused in Pyro or take some Pyro yourself for combos and you're set. Take a point or two in Aero for Teleport so you can group enemies better for your skills and gain access to other utility skills like Uncanny Dodge. Big AoEs that render most physical based enemies worthless because they either can't move or move incredibly slowly. The Elf Tectonic Sage that focuses on ranged magic damage and has heavy CC is my favorite so far. Keeping that in mind will make choosing builds much easier before you dive in. So once you remove all magic armor, magic damage then goes to vitality even if they still have physical armor. Enemies have magic armor and physical armor that you generally have to beat down before you can attack vitality.
